Donald Trump became the first sitting President in United States History to attend the NBA Finals. This is the second time during this term that he has made such history. The first time was becoming the first sitting President to attend the Super Bowl. That contest came on February 9th, 2025 when the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs.

Reaction From Crowd At NBA Finals Toward Donald Trump Goes Viral
Exactly as he promised, United States President Donald Trump attended Game 3 of the NBA Finals in 2026.
Trump was boisterously booed during the national anthem after a few chants of “USA, USA, USA” for the flag. Despite the growing boos, the president saluted and smiled slightly. The cheering resumed once the feed showed Knicks players. Here is the video:

As president, Donald Trump has attended a number of major sporting events during his second term, including the Super Bowl, the college football national championship, the Ryder Cup, the Daytona 500, and numerous events involving the UFC. Additionally, he attended the US Open men’s tennis final last year.
It will be interesting to see if the President continues to attend massive sporting events.
