New York fans are letting Victor Wembanyama hear it during Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals between the Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
Wembanyama is going through his debut in the NBA Finals, pulling off the feat in Year 3 of his career with the Spurs. However, he and the team find themselves trailing 2-0 in the series after falling in Games 1 and 2 at home. They need to bounce back by winning in hostile territory at Madison Square Garden.
Wembanyama has certainly impressed with highlights throughout the course of the first half. However, this didn't mean he is playing clean as he is being very physical with New York players. This resulted in the home crowd taunting him with explicit chants.

How Knicks played against Victor Wembanyama, Spurs
Victor Wembanyama is doing well in Game 3 with 15 points, four rebounds and four assists. However, he and the Spurs trail 64-57 at the break.
New York got off to a slow start as San Antonio led after the first quarter. Despite this, the Knicks fired back with 42 points in the second period, including a huge run to take the lead going into the break.
Three players have reached double figures in scoring so far for New York. Josh Hart is filling up the stat sheet with 13 points, five rebounds and three assists. He is shooting 5-of-6 from the field, including 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. OG Anunoby leads the team with 17 points and two rebounds, Jalen Brunson has 15 points and three assists, while Karl-Anthony Towns put up nine points and four rebounds.
Following their Game 3 contest against the Spurs, the Knicks will prepare to host Game 4. The matchup takes place on June 10 as tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. ET.
