Clarkson scored his 10th point of the night off that epic three, which got Knick fans exploding in euphoria.
The veteran earned some extensive minutes this time around. He previously hadn't scored until Monday evening arrived.

Clarkson hit that basket inside a sold out MSG filled with fans who waited 27 years for this moment.
The iconic venue has hosted many renown events from concerts, to Stanley Cup Finals games in hockey, to past NBA Playoffs games. But Knick fans are starving for a championship.
The franchise hasn't won the top prize in the league since 1973, before every Knick player was born. Head coach Mike Brown was only three years old the last time New York claimed the NBA title.
But Monday's Game 3 contest brought out fans eager to see a championship in the city. Longtime fans Spike Lee, actors Timothee Chalamet and Ben Stiller, plus famed New York rappers Fat Joe and Jay Z all showed up. United States President Donald Trump took in the action too.
Everyone watched the Knicks cut another large deficit, this time by 12 in the first half. But San Antonio led 100-95 with approximately 7:30 left in the contest.
