The Spurs defeated the Knicks 115-111 at Madison Square Garden, throwing a curveball in New York's hopes of securing the championship in a four-game sweep, though the Knicks still lead 2-1.
The winner of the championship will follow current titleholder Oklahoma City Thunder, which [defeated](https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/45565932/thunder-overwhelm-pacers-game-7-franchise-first-title) the Indiana Pacers last year.
The fourth game of the Finals will take place Wednesday night in Manhattan and the fifth game will take place Saturday in San Antonio, Texas.
