Seahawks News 6/9: Seahawks that have something to prove in 2026

Since I have NFL+ because I live out of market I can watch all of the games on demand back at least 20 years. So I am in the process of watching Russell Wilson's entire rookie season, although there is only one game I didn't watch on TV at the time as far as I remember. I had to watch the Dec 23 42-13 game against the 2012 NFC Champion 49ers at Lumen for the first time or whatever they were calling it then just now on demand , because I was there at Lumen and probably too cheap for a DVR then.

A couple of things stand out from the 2012 season:

-Russell Wilson had an exceptional rookie season

-The Young LOB was also exceptional.

But that of course is not the beyond exceptional Exclusive Content you are expecting, so here it is:

Marshawn Lynch was beyond exceptional in 2012, he didn't have a beastquake that year, but he did have his highest total yards and ypc that year.

It isn't so much the yards after contact that stand out, it's the ability to get out in the open field and the vision to stay in the open field and then go through contact before hitting the ground that really stand out.

He had 10 games with over 100 yards and was the leading rusher in every regular season game, although Russ was the leading rusher with 80 in the playoff exit against Atlanta.

Just incredible. I am.sure nobody else ever noticed that before so I thought I would point that out.
