Former NFL quarterback Robert Griffin III was watching Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night. Griffin played for the Washington Commanders for a few years in the NFL and was also the second overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft from the Baylor Bears.

His injuries caused his career to be cut short. Griffin has been an analyst since not playing in the NFL. With that being said, the Knicks lost in Game 3 over the Spurs by a final score of 105-101. With that win for San Antonio, they trail 2-1 in the series and snap New York’s 13-game winning streak. Griffin after the game posted some interesting comments on Twitter and said, “The San Antonio Spurs want Donald Trump to go to every game at Madison Square Garden.” This comment set off some NFL fans.

There are a lot of NFL fans who are not happy with the comments Griffin made about Trump after the Spurs took down the Knicks. This is what they had to say toward Griffin on Twitter:

There is no doubt that there are a lot of people are blaming Trump for the Knicks losing. However, the bigger story should be that the refs were horrible and there is no doubt that Griffin missed that.
