It all started when Donald Trump showed up at Madison Square Garden, to loud boos from the New York City audience. The vibes were immediately off.
The New York Knicks played Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs last night, and while it was a tight game until the end, the Spurs ended up defeating the Knicks 115-111, snapping the orange and blue’s 13-game winning streak.

As we New Yorkers shook our heads and yelled “Defense!” in buzzy local sports bars, one bright orange spot in the stadium did shine bright all the way through: MSG regular Timothée Chalamet. The actor and Knicks superfan didn’t rep team merch this time around, but he did drench himself in Knicks orange, which was so much better.
Smack in the middle of celebrity row, the A Complete Unknown star stood out in his custom clementine set from Chrome Hearts, composed of an athletic zip-up jacket and matching track pants, both with white details and retro-inspired silhouettes.

Chalamet paired the statement pieces with a classic white T-shirt and his favorite Timberland x Chrome Hearts boots in tan nubuck leather plus orange and blue details. A chunky silver ring capped off his fit, which we got to see plenty of as he stood up from his courtside seat during plays to yell at the players. (Coach Timmy, is that you?)

Chalamet regularly taps Chrome Hearts for his game-day looks, and even girlfriend Kylie Jenner has embraced the brand. Never forget when the two walked the red carpet together in bright orange Chrome Hearts ensembles to promote Chalamet’s Marty Supreme film, in which orange was a dominating color.

As the Knicks took their loss last night, Chalamet and his orange fit said goodbye to his courtside neighbors, including Ben Stiller, Tina Fey, and Tracy Morgan. Let’s hope the New York team gets back its stride, because I just know Chalamet has his color-themed outfits all ready for the ultimate win.
