New York Giants edge rusher Abdul Carter has been in the headlines for the wrong reasons this offseason. Carter called out his teammate Jaxson Dart for heading to the Donald Trump Rally earlier this offseason. He also spoke to the media about doubling down on his beliefs and a lot of Giants fans were not happy with Carter.

On Monday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reported on Twitter,
“Development: Giants edge Abdul Carter had his entire left shoe and sock off, and he’s being examined by trainers. He is limping VERY gingerly off to the side. I didn’t see it happen, but Carter got banged up during this practice. He just limped into the indoor field as practice continues outside.”
Well, it does not appear as if the injury for Carter is serious. He is only 22 years and had a rough rookie season.

There are a lot of Giants fans who do not like Carter. They think he is a total distraction in the locker room. His ankle injury is not serious, but will see if Carter has other issues as mandatory minicamp goes on and training camp occurs this summer.
