Bo Nix, Pat Surtain II crack top-50 players in NFL merchandise sales

Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix and cornerback Pat Surtain II are the two most popular guys on the team.

Nix plays the most important position in sports and Surtain is the one of the best defenders in the NFL, so it makes sense.

And on Tuesday, the NFLPA released data to back up that claim.

The top-50 players in terms of merchandise sales from March 1, 2025 – Feb. 28, 2026 came out. Nix checked in at No. 11 in the league while Surtain was No. 33. They’re the only two Broncos players to make the list.

Bo Nix led Denver to the playoffs in his rookie year and had plenty of momentum heading into last offseason. Surtain was coming off a Defensive Player of the Year honor, so both guys sold plenty of gear in the spring and summer of 2025.

Then during the season Nix helped the Broncos go 14-3 and threw for nearly 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns. He added another five rushing scores and 356 yards on the ground.

Surtain had 47 tackles, 12 passes defended and an interception. Opposing quarterbacks rarely looked his way as he routinely shut down the No. 1 receiver every single week.

The 10 guys ahead of Bo Nix included Josh Allen at No. 1 and Drake Maye at No. 2, both popular QBs who play in the AFC East. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was No. 6 on the list, while fellow 2024 drafted QBs Jayden Daniels (No. 5) and Caleb Williams (No. 8) also edged out Nix.

Only six defensive players were ahead of Surtain, with Packers star Micah Parsons leading the list at No. 10 overall. Former CU Buffs QB Shedeur Sanders also topped Surtain at No. 31. Travis Hunter was No. 42 in the league.

It’s not shocking that Bo Nix and PS2 are selling the most merchandise on the Broncos. And if they continue to have team success in 2026 their rankings should only move up next season and beyond.
