The Kansas City Chiefs were among the busiest teams during the 2026 NFL Draft. They drafted seven players, including two in the first round and another two in the fifth.
The team is coming off a disappointing 2025 season. It missed the playoffs for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era, finishing 6-11. The superstar quarterback also suffered a torn ACL in December, which hecontinues to rehab. However, the Chiefs’ offseason moves have given them a strong chance to bounce back, with key free-agent signings and rookie additions.
They bolstered different positions and added depth in some areas of strength. The franchise has been one of the most successful in the league in the past decade, and it will aim to regain lost glory in 2026.
