Rams Player Arrested On Domestic Violence Charge: LAPD

LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles Rams left tackle Alaric Jackson was arrested Monday night on suspicion of felony domestic violence, according to multiple reports.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at around 10:46 p.m. to the 7400 block of Cliffside Court in West Hills after receiving a call regarding domestic violence battery call, police told KTLA.

Jackson, 27, was taken into custody shortly before 11 p.m. and later booked into jail. Los Angeles County jail records show he was booked early Tuesday morning, released on $50,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Los Angeles Superior Court on June 30, according to the station.

Officers responding to the residence determined a woman involved in the incident had recorded part of the encounter. Police also observed scratch marks on her arms, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing a person familiar with the investigation who was not authorized to speak publicly.

The specific felony domestic violence offense involves allegations that a person willfully physically injures a current or former intimate partner, according to California law.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office is reviewing the case for possible criminal charges, the Times reported.

"We are aware of the incident regarding Alaric Jackson, and we take these matters very seriously," the Rams said in a statement provided to the Times. "Due to this being an ongoing legal situation, we cannot comment further at this time."

Jackson is entering his sixth NFL season with the Rams. The former undrafted free agent signed a three-year contract extension with the team in February valued at $57 million, according to reports.

The arrest comes less than a year after Jackson served a two-game NFL suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.

In 2024, a woman filed a civil lawsuit alleging Jackson recorded her during a sexual encounter without her consent, refused to delete the video and later taunted her about it, according to ESPN. The woman reported the matter to the NFL, but the lawsuit was later dismissed.
