The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the arrest to ESPN reporter Sarah Barshop, saying the charge was for “a person who willfully inflicts corporal injury” against a spouse.

Jackson was reportedly released from custody on a $50,000 bond.

The 27-year-old was suspended for two regular-season games in 2024 for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The reason for the suspension was unclear at the time, though it has since been reported that Jackson was named in a lawsuit alleging that he recorded a woman during sex without her consent. No criminal charges were filed in relation to the alleged incident.

According to Spotrac, Jackson has earned $25 million USD playing in the NFL.
