According to ClutchPoints' Brett Siegel, the Phoenix Suns are not interested in pursuing a trade for the Memphis Grizzlies star guard, despite speculation linking Morant to the franchise over the past several months.
The connection between Morant and Phoenix had gained traction due to the Suns' need for another dynamic ball-handler alongside Devin Booker. Morant also shares a history with Suns forward Dillon Brooks, as the two spent several seasons together in Memphis.
However, league sources told that the Suns have no plans to explore a deal for the two-time NBA All-Star.
According to the report, Phoenix is not looking to make a major roster overhaul this offseason and is also unwilling to take on the remaining $87 million left on Morant's current contract.
