It's sounding more likely that the Celtics will keep Jaylen Brown this offseason, and The Athletic's Sam Amick doesn't think Boston is truly shopping him.
"There are no signs that the Celtics are putting Jaylen out there at all," Amick told CLNS Media on Tuesday. "In fact, they have gone to great lengths, I think, after he made those comments after the season, to make sure they were good with him."

A lot of trade speculation surrounding the Celtics and Brown started after the 76ers eliminated Boston in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Brown mentioned on his stream that this was his favorite season of his career.
"You got to see all of these guys, all of my teammates, grow," Brown said in early May, via NBC Sports Boston's Justin Leger. "I got to see them overcome adversity as a group, up close and personal. ... Obviously, we're not satisfied with the result. If it sounds like an excuse, it's not. But to fight and maneuver through adversity and grow, and galvanize with a bunch of guys and to have that mindset and approach, this was my favorite year.
"I wouldn't say by far. By far would be a stretch because obviously winning the championship is great. But I'm telling y'all, this was my favorite season."
It was surprising to hear that this was Brown's favorite season, especially since his running mate Jayson Tatum, was out most of the season, with a torn Achilles, and Brown stepped up as the No. 1 option. Some speculated that Brown enjoyed being the top player and might want to take on that role with another team this offseason, sparking trade speculation.
