Sam Amick of The Athletic spoke to CLNS Media's Bobby Manning and made it clear that the Celtics are still firm on their partnership with the superstar wing.

"There's no sign that they're putting Jaylen out there at all. In fact, they've gone to great lengths after he made those comments after the season to make sure that they were good with him," Amick claimed.

"All the messaging from the organization and from Jaylen's camp was that there's nothing to see here, just media talk."

Jaylen Brown, Celtics saw a roller-coaster year filled with highs and lows

Brown is coming off his best NBA season with Boston, averaging 28.7 points, 6.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists.

With Jayson Tatum playing only by March after his grinding torn Achilles rehab, Brown led the charge for the Celtics and was a catalyst for the team's remarkable 56-win season, earning the No. 2 seed finish of the Eastern Conference.

As such, following their first-round downfall against the Philadelphia 76ers upon blowing their 3-1 lead, many have raised their eyebrows after Brown noted that this season served to be his favorite.

As rumors have instantly erupted from that point, Tracy McGrady, his mentor, further ignited talks after claiming that Brown is actually frustrated in Boston, although it was ultimately dismissed.

In the end, added by Amick, there is no clear indication for now that both sides will part ways this upcoming offseason.

"This is admittedly where fans get frustrated. They are trying to analyze all of this context and pull meaning out of it, and sometimes you've got to make sure that there's real meaning there. The Celtics kind of poo-pooed the T-Mac stuff and poo-pooed Jaylen's comments publicly. Brad Stevens, in his press conference, made it clear that the messaging from Jaylen to him was that he's good and that he didn't express frustration," Amick noted.

"So I don't see it as a case of them trying to get off Jaylen by any means. He just had the best year of his career."
