After Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals, the San Antonio Spurs are back in the series. They almost went down 3-0, but it seems the Spurs have become an even bigger threat now that the series is at 2-1.
The New York Knicks still have the advantage, but it seems the Spurs have the momentum. Stephon Castle and the rest of the Spurs can feel it, as they remain confident in their chances of coming back and winning the series.
Stephon Castle remains confident in the Spurs' chances of winning the Finals
In Game 3, it was Castle and Victor Wembanyama who stood out. At only 21 and 22, respectively, the young duo called Area 51 has been the key to the Spurs winning Game 3 and how they look like favorites ahead of Game 4.
Of course, the second game at Madison Square Garden will probably involve the Knicks bouncing back. They have been wonderful in this postseason, but it seems the Spurs remain high on what they can do moving forward.

The Spurs lack the experience of being in the NBA Finals, but that does not seem to be a problem for them. They love being the team that people doubt because they have the opportunity to prove them wrong.
They have never wavered in their confidence, which includes Castle's statements ahead of Game 4. Some people might brand it as overconfidence, but it just shows that the Spurs are ready to compete.
"Definitely. I expect us to win the next three. We're taking it game by game, quarter by quarter, trying to walk this thing down. Those first two games really hurt. I feel like it was an eye-opener for us; we don't want it to be that way," Castle said to Malika Andrews ahead of Game 4.
The Spurs and the Knicks will both be ready for Game 4. It is an exciting series, and it will only keep getting better with how confident both teams are in themselves and their capability to win this championship.
