Yan Diomande is on United’s summer shortlist
Amad will be well aware that Diomande has been linked with the Red Devils on numerous occasions in recent months.
🚨BREAKING:

While signing a winger isn’t by any means a priority for INEOS, there is an acceptance that reinforcements across the squad will be necessary this summer, especially given Champions League action will be returning to Old Trafford next season.
United have yet to materialise their interest in Diomande, but will be keeping tabs on his situation, with Liverpool one of the**‘firm contenders’** in the race for the RB Leipzig starlet’s signature in the lead-up to the window, according to David Ornstein.

Could Diomande end up at Anfield?
Ornstein has also claimed that the Merseyside outfit, who’ve just appointed Andoni Iraola to succeed Arne Slot, are in the ‘strongest position’ to sign the 19-year-old.

However, Leipzig are continuing to make it clear that they have no desire to part ways with their young talisman. If they were pressured to facilitate his sale, they would demand a fee in the region of €100 million (£86.2m).
In the meantime, Diomande himself has given no indication whether he’d like to be on the move before 2026/2027 gets underway.
Understandably, his sole focus will be on doing the best possible job for his nation at his first major international tournament.
Should he replicate the stellar kind of performances he displayed last campaign on the world’s biggest stage, Leipzig will feel inclined to increase their asking price – and you couldn’t really blame them if that were the case.
