Hello and welcome to our live coverage of the latest Manchester United transfer news on Wednesday, June 10.
The summer transfer window does not open for clubs until Monday, but United have already been linked with several new players. The Reds are expected to focus on midfield after the departure of Casemiro, and with Manuel Ugarte facing an uncertain future in M16.
Among those being linked include Bournemouth star Alex Scott. The latest reports suggest that the Cherries value him at £80million and are determined to keep him as they prepare for European football next season.
Elsewhere, United are said to be exploring a potential deal for West Ham's Mateus Fernandes. It is claimed that the Hammers also value Fernandes at around £80m and are in no rush to sell him.
Another midfielder being linked is Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali. It is said that the Italian could leave before the start of the season - although the asking price of about £100m will inevitably cause problems for interested parties - and some within the club reportedly expect rather than fear his departure.
