The fallout from Victor Wembanyama's controversial shove of Jalen Brunson in Game 3 of the NBA Finals continues to grow, and now Draymond Green has entered the conversation with a pointed take against the New York Knicks.
The four-time NBA champion was surprised by the reaction from Brunson's teammates after the New York Knicks guard was sent crashing into the floor while he was battling for a position with Wembanyama in the first quarter.
“He pushed him down and none of the guys on the Knicks team did anything. Don’t not for one second think that didn’t matter,” Green said.
The referees failed to call it a foul at the moment but later acknowledged the mistake.
Speaking with Kevin O'Connor on the incident that happened at Madison Square Garden, Green argued what would have happened had it been his Golden State Warriors teammate Steph Curry instead of Brunson.
"I'm probably going to get thrown out right there," Green said if the hit happened to Curry.
Draymond Green said if Wemby did to Steph what he did to Brunson in Game 3…he would’ve been thrown out.

By this, Green hinted that he would have reacted aggressively against the Spurs, unlike the Knicks teammates who failed to stand up for Brunson in the moment. While the Warriors star realized that it could have cost his team Game 3, it would be worth it.

Victor Wembanyama eligible to play NBA Finals Game 4
After the Spurs' 115-111 win, the NBA acknowledged that the officials failed to call a foul on Victor Wembanyama against Jalen Brunson. However, upon review, they found the foul was not worthy of Flagrant 1.
This was a major relief for Wembanyama and the Spurs camp, as the centerpiece was already possessing two flagrant fouls this postseason. Another one would have hurt his eligibility to play in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, where the Spurs would like to level the series.
