Liverpool are in talks with the representatives of Manchester City academy midfielder Xavier Parker over a summer move, according to the Secret Scout. The 16-year-old is set to leave Man City this month and move to Liverpool as he grew up supporting the Anfield club and wants to play for them. Parker has plenty of suitors but the Reds have pipped them to his services and Man City are already eyeing his replacement.

So Man Utd are attempting to add David Eze, Isaac Konde and Vincent Joseph, whilst Liverpool have kept Josh Abe and are trying to sign Xavier Parker.

The teenage sensation is a midfield powerhouse who can play in a number of different roles in midfield and attack. Parker averaged a goal or assist every 76.5 minutes for Man City under-18s last season, becoming the second-youngest player to debut for them in the UEFA Youth League. Liverpool have been keeping tabs on the youngster for a while, and they are now finally set to land their man.
The number 10 is an excellent finisher and passer, and the Reds are convinced that he has what it takes to become a first-team regular in the near future.
