The Athletic have confirmed that the Gunners were interested in signing the Turkish international to strengthen their options on the left flank.
However, they have opted to move on to other targets after getting no encouragement from Juve. Supporters on X are disappointed that Yildiz will not be making the switch to the Emirates this summer:

A shame. Probably my number 1 target for LW. Should have tried bidding big money, Juve aren't in the CL anyway they could have accepted.

Yildiz signed a new contract earlier this year
The 21-year-old put pen to paper on a four-and-a-half-year deal back in February, so the chances of him being available were somewhat remote.
Juve’s failure to qualify for the Champions League may have encouraged Arsenal to make a move for Yildiz, but the Serie A side are expected to offload other players to balance the books.
The forward is deemed too important to sell, having scored 11 goals and provided 10 assists in 47 appearances for Luciano Spalletti’s side last campaign.

Who could Arsenal sign instead?
Journalist Fabrizio Romano has recently stated that sporting director Andrea Berta has “three wingers” on his shortlist. It is unlikely that Yildiz is one of the names, as Romano was very dismissive of the speculation linking the player with a switch to North London.
