Manchester United are in a ruthless mood this summer and there seems to be no limit to that mood, as they launch talks to sign a young Liverpool star.
The Red Devils are already closing in on the arrival of Ederson, having agreed a deal worth around £39m, and have since also set their sights back on Elliot Anderson. Midfield is the clear priority, but that doesn't mean INEOS aren't also targeting players for the future.

Alongside midfield additions, they're also focused on welcoming rising stars who could take centre-stage in their frontline for years to come, and that could even see one Liverpool talent arrive.
Indeed, while the headlines are dominated by big-money moves, there's already been plenty to look out for at academy level, and United could deal a frustrating blow to their arch rivals.

According to The Secret Scout, Man United are in talks to sign Isaac Konde from Liverpool this summer in a shock move between the two academies.
The 16-year-old is a "key target" for those at Old Trafford and United have already approached his representatives, while they are also showing interest in another youngster, Vincent Joseph.
The two teenagers have impressed at youth level, with Konde in particular catching the eye on the left wing.
With JJ Gabriel already making several statements for Man United's academy, the addition of Konde would represent Man United's growing ambition to build for the future.
Under Ruben Amorim, their youth setup was often shut out, deemed not good enough. That won't be the case under Michael Carrick and the path to the first team is clear for all to see.
For the sake of dragging the club back to the top of English football, signings like Konde could prove to be just as important as those for big transfer fees this summer.
