Mohamed Salah is reportedly eager for a move to Turkey following his departure from Liverpool, according to a football director in the country. Salah is searching for a new club after confirming he would be leaving Anfield at the end of the season.
There has been considerable speculation surrounding his next destination. Several reports have suggested a switch to Turkey could be on the horizon, with Fenerbahce heavily linked.
During the presidential election at the club, candidate Aziz Yildrim lifted the lid on Salah's alleged transfer requests. "He would ask for a three-year contract, and the total cost would be €90million (£77m)," he said, via Fanatik.
"If he is our urgent need, we will sign him! Our football committee will decide on these matters."
Yildrim clinched victory in the election, being installed as the club's new president. He must now determine whether to pursue a deal for Salah or not, but has received a boost from one member of outgoing president Sadettin Saran's camp.
Ertan Torunogullari, the football director under Saran, said: "He [Salah] was very keen on coming to Turkey.
"The meetings he had with us were extremely positive. We had established common ground with him on many issues, including his salary.

"If the new administration makes such a request, I believe Salah will wear the Fenerbahce jersey.
"We would gladly work with the new administration on negotiations."
Yildirim is reportedly set to chair his first board meeting at the club today, at which the prospect of bringing in Salah could be raised. A deal to bring striker Vedat Muriqi back to Fenerbahce is already reported to have been finalised.
Salah is currently gearing up to represent Egypt at the World Cup in North America. He confirmed at the close of the season that his next destination would only be determined once the tournament has concluded.
"I will still see [about where to go next]," he said.
"I have time now, I am going to the World Cup, and then everything will be clear, either if there is a good opportunity before it, I will decide, and if it is not there, I will make my decision after the World Cup."
