Mohamed Salah is reportedly keen on a transfer to Turkey following his exit from Liverpool, according to a football director in the country. Salah is looking for a new club after announcing he would be departing Anfield at the end of the campaign.
There has been significant speculation about his next move. Numerous reports have indicated a switch to Turkey could be in the offing, with Fenerbahce strongly linked for the ex- Liverpool man.
During the presidential election at the club, candidate Aziz Yildrim revealed details of Salah's supposed transfer demands. Yildrim secured victory in the election, being appointed as the club's new president. He must now decide whether to pursue a deal for Salah or not, but has received encouragement from one member of outgoing president Sadettin Saran's team.
"He would ask for a three-year contract, and the total cost would be €90million ($104 million)," he said, via Fanatik.
"If he is our urgent need, we will sign him! Our football committee will decide on these matters."
Ertan Torunogullari, the football director under Saran, said: "He [Salah] was very keen on coming to Turkey.
"The meetings he had with us were extremely positive. We had established common ground with him on many issues, including his salary.
"If the new administration makes such a request, I believe Salah will wear the Fenerbahce jersey.
"We would gladly work with the new administration on negotiations."

Yildirim is reportedly due to chair his first board meeting at the club today, during which the possibility of recruiting Salah could be tabled. A deal to bring striker Vedat Muriqi back to Fenerbahce has already been reported as concluded.
Salah is currently preparing to represent Egypt at the World Cup in North America. At the end of the season, he confirmed that his next destination would only be decided once the tournament has come to a close.

"I will still see [about where to go next]," he said.
"I have time now, I am going to the World Cup, and then everything will be clear, either if there is a good opportunity before it, I will decide, and if it is not there, I will make my decision after the World Cup."
