Cooper Kupp may be tough on the field, but at home, he’s a loving dad to his three sons, Cooper, Cypress and Solas.

The Seattle Seahawks wide receiver married his high school sweetheart, Anna Marie Krupp, in June 2015. Three years later, the couple welcomed their first child together, son Cooper, who goes by “June" for Junior.

“It’s an absolute life-changer,” Cooper told The Spokesman Review in August 2018 about becoming a father. “There’s nothing like it.”

In 2021, Cooper and Anna’s family grew again with the birth of their second son, Cypress. The couple’s third son, Solas, was born in 2023. After eight years with the Los Angeles Rams, the former Super Bowl MVP was released from his contract and, shortly after, signed with the Seattle Seahawks in 2025.

Here’s everything to know about Cooper Kupp’s three children, Cooper, Cypress and Solas.

Cooper and Anna welcomed their first child, son Cooper Jameson Kupp, on July 3, 2018. Named after his dad, the couple affectionately call him “June,” which is short for Junior.

A few days after his birth, Anna shared the happy news on Instagram, writing, “Our hearts and souls are overflowing.”

Less than a month after June was born, Cooper had to report to training camp. Speaking to The Orange County Register, he described leaving his wife and new baby boy as “the hardest day of my life.” As for the day he became a father, that may have been one of the best.

“I was looking at him, holding him. And he was looking back at me, straight into my eyes. And I felt like I was looking back at myself 25 years ago. It was the weirdest, most incredible feeling in the world,” he said.

Despite how difficult it was to leave, Cooper expressed gratitude for being at home to witness his son’s birth.

“Watching [Anna] go through that, I just can’t explain. Watching the miracle that that is. I obviously have a newfound respect for my wife and what she went through, so it was just an incredible experience,” he told The Spokesman Review.

He went on to say that while he felt more helpless during the labor, his parenting instincts kicked in as soon as June was born.

Cooper is a third-generation NFL player — his father, Craig Kupp, was a quarterback while his grandfather, Jake Kupp, was a guard — but he doesn’t want his son to feel pressured to continue the family legacy.

“I want him to go do whatever he falls in love with, whatever he’s passionate about,” he told The Spokesman Review. “Whatever his God-given abilities and passion are, I just want him to go after it with everything he’s got.”

In September 2020, Anna and Cooper announced on Instagram that they were expecting their second child.

“Can’t wait to meet our newest little addition! Blessings on blessings on blessings. Don’t know what I did to be able share in this kind of love with my family. God is good!” Cooper wrote alongside two photos displaying Anna’s growing bump.

Although the couple were able to get pregnant with June right away, it took more time with their second son. “This time, the second time around, it took a little longer,” Cooper told The New York Times in January 2021. “This was something we were trying for and just hadn’t happened for us yet.”

Because of the pandemic, the couple opted to live apart for the last few months of Anna’s pregnancy. While Cooper stayed in L.A., Anna flew to their newly purchased home in Portland, Ore.

Cypress Stellar Kupp was born on Jan. 17, 2021.

The couple shared the news on Instagram along with a black-and-white photo of each of their hands and June’s hand over Cypress’ chest.

“We are filled beyond anything we could ever imagine. God is good,” Anna wrote in the caption.

In February 2022, after the Rams’ Super Bowl win, Cooper celebrated on the field with Anna and their two sons. Photos from the event show both boys playing in the confetti. Following the victory, the NFL star spoke to reporters during a press conference with 1-year-old Cypress on his lap.

When asked about what he was thinking after being named Super Bowl MVP, Cooper said, “I was just looking at my family, looking at my wife and my boys coming out here.”

On June 10, 2023, Cooper and Anna announced the birth of their third child on Instagram.

“Solas Reign Kupp! ☀️ Born into his mother's arms, we are so thankful for the blessing of this third little soul we get to raise up into a man of God!” they wrote in the caption.

In a July 2024 episode of their podcast, Daily Grind, the couple shared that their youngest son was born weighing 9 pounds. Because of his size, they were both optimistic that he would be their “best sleeper by far.” Unfortunately, that didn’t turn out to be true.

“During the day, he’s the sweetest little boy,” Cooper said before joking that at night, “No one’s allowed to sleep at all.”

He went on to share the importance of being able to connect with his kids on an emotional level.

“I think something that we’ve tried to be intentional about is connecting with them,” he said, adding that learning to communicate has been “a huge part of how we want to handle conflict in our house.”
