ROCK HILL, S.C. - University of Louisville basketball coach Pat Kelsey is out recruiting at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Camp on Wednesday, the first of two days college coaches can be out evaluating at the Rock Hill Sports Center.
Kelsey is joined by three assistant coaches and his son, Johnny Kelsey, for the prestigious event.
Spending the morning session in the second row, right in the middle of the two courts where games are being played, Kelsey has watched many of Louisville's top targets with his son and new associate head coach Sean Dixon sitting by his side.
U of L assistant coaches Ronnie Hamilton and Peyton Siva are also at the event.
Some of the top prospects in the Classes of 2027 and '28 are at the camp that the NBA Players Association runs. The camp features around 100 overall prospects, including a number of the top Louisville targets in '27 and '28.
In the morning session, Kelsey was able to get a look at several of the main targets.
Chandler, Ariz., forward DeMarcus Henry had a big game in front of Kelsey, while he also saw Houston point guard Reese Alston, Powder Springs, Ga., guard Chase Lumpkin, Southeastern Prep forward CJ Rosser, and Prolific Prep center Lewis Uvwo.
Hamilton was able to see Henry, along with Uvwo, Rosser, forward Moussa Kamissoko, and several others.
Siva was on the court watching Alston, Henry, Bremberton, Wash., guard Jalen Davis, and Geneva, Ohio, guard King Gibson.
Kelsey is expected back for the night session.
