Manchester United will go all out to bring Aurelien Tchouameni or Elliot Anderson to Old Trafford in the summer transfer window, according to a report.
Man Utd have already struck a deal for Ederson Silva, who will move to Old Trafford from Serie A club Atalanta.
The Premier League club’s co-owners, INEOS, as well as manager Michael Carrick, are keen on signing another midfielder this summer.
Man Utd will play in the Champions League next season and will also aim to at least challenge for the Premier League title.
Casemiro is leaving Man Utd, and Manuel Ugarte is likely to depart Old Trafford, so the Red Devils need to sign suitable replacements.
Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson is a top Man Utd midfielder target, although Manchester City are the current favourites for the England international.

Man Utd, though, believe that they could still convince Anderson to move to Old Trafford.
Real Madrid midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni is another player that Man Utd would love to sign.
Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano described Tchouameni as Man Utd’s “dream midfielder target” on his YouTube channel last month.
The Italian transfer journalist added: “He is for sure a player they love. He’s a player they believe could be another Casemiro for Manchester United.”
Romano further noted: “Then, as I always mentioned, for Real Madrid, he’s a very important player. So at the moment, the doors of Real Madrid are still closed for Aurelien Tchouameni. He’s on a big salary, so it’s a really, really difficult deal, really complicated.”

It has now emerged that Man Utd are ready to go all in for Anderson or Tchouameni if either became available.

Journalist Shaun Connolly has reported that ‘if Aurelien Tchouameni or Elliot Anderson should become available, United would do their utmost to secure their services’.
While Anderson is almost certain to leave Forest this summer, Tchouameni is unlikely to be on the market.
Madrid will have Jose Mourinho as their new head coach, and the Portuguese has decided that he will keep the France international defensive midfielder.

Earlier this month, Man Utd legend Paul Scholes said that he would love to see the Red Devils sign Anderson ahead of Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Former Man Utd midfielder Nicky Butt said on The Good, The Bad & The Football podcast: “You can only sign one for United: Elliot Anderson or Morgan Rogers?”
Scholes responded: “It’d have to be Elliot Anderson for me because I love Morgan Rogers, but he’s not going to play instead of Bruno Fernandes, is he? Same position [as Bruno].”
