FIBA, the NBA, and EuroLeague officials met in Switzerland to continue discussions on the future of European basketball and potential cooperation on the planned NBA Europe project, with another meeting set for early July.
FIBA, the NBA, and EuroLeague representatives held a new meeting on Wednesday, the EuroLeague officially announced.
Officials from Euroleague Basketball, FIBA, and the NBA gathered at FIBA headquarters in Mies, Switzerland, to continue constructive discussions about the future of European basketball and possible areas of cooperation, according to the official statement.
Another meeting is scheduled for early July.
The EuroLeague was represented by President Dejan Bodiroga and CEO Chus Bueno.
The proposed NBA Europe project is currently expected to launch in 2027.
