The Golden State Warriors have an important offseason ahead of them as they look to wring whatever they can out of the twilight years of Stephen Curry's career. Whether that's going after a big name like LeBron James or making smaller moves around the margins, Golden State clearly needs to upgrade their roster in order to contend.
Recently, Curry's longtime adversary with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Tristan Thompson, gave the star some high praise regarding his place in NBA history.

Curry and Johnson are widely considered to be the two greatest point guards of all time, with some opining that Curry overtook the Los Angeles Lakers icon when he led the Warriors to their most recent championship in 2022, winning his first NBA Finals MVP in the process.
At age 38, it remains to be seen how much Curry has left in the tank, as injuries have started to take a toll in recent years. However, when healthy, he remains one of the most electrifying players in the game today, more than capable of being an offense unto himself for long stretches of a game.
Now, the pressure is on Mike Dunleavy and company to use the considerable assets at their disposal to put a formidable team around Curry, one that can withstand an injury absence from the star if that happens again next year.
The NBA offseason will officially begin when the Finals conclude at some point in the next eight days.
