Spurs secure important Game 3 win in New York vs Knicks
With the NBA Finals back in New York for the first time in 27 years, the hype was overwhelming across the entire city. But despite the pressure, the Spurs got the job done and clinched a must-needed 115-111 victory last Monday to finally be on the board in the championship series.
After a devastating back-to-back loss in front of their home crowd, the Spurs bounced back in an inspiring fashion. Victor Wembanyama led the way for San Antonio with 32 points, shooting 11-of-18 from the field with eight rebounds, six assists, three blocks and two steals across 39 minutes.
Stephon Castle dropped 23 points, five rebounds and five assists, while rookie Dylan Harper came up big again off the bench with 13 points, nine rebounds and four dimes.
As the Spurs regained momentum, it's now up for Jalen Brunson and the Knicks to deliver on their own, or their early 2-0 lead would be in jeopardy before the series shifts back to San Antonio.
