French Montana names his Knicks player to watch in Game 4

The New York Knicks are just hours away from taking the court for Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday evening at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The Knicks are hoping to bounce back and go up 3-1 on the San Antonio Spurs after dropping Game 3 earlier this week.

Recently, recording artist French Montana predicted that Karl-Anthony Towns will have a bounce-back performance after a quiet Game 3.

“KAT has got to stop Wemby. KAT has got the biggest role. He's been doing a great job,” said French Montana, per NBA on ESPN on X, formerly Twitter.

Towns indeed did a strong job of making life difficult for Spurs star Victor Wembanyama through the first two games of the series, which the Knicks won on the road. However, that came to an end on Monday, as Wemby scored an efficient 32 points in the Spurs' road win. Meanwhile, Towns was held to just 11 points after being New York's best player in the first two games.

In order for the Knicks to bounce back, Towns will need to have a much more aggressive mindset coming into Game 4, and can't allow himself to get deterred even if Wembanyama gets one or two of his signature blocks against him. Meanwhile, New York will also hope for a strong response from Mikal Bridges after he scored just two points on 1-5 shooting in Game 3.

Defensively, the Knicks will likely focus on keeping Wembanyama out of the paint as much as possible, as well as limiting some of the open looks from beyond the arc that they gave up on Monday.

In any case, Game 4 between the Knicks and Spurs is set for Wednesday evening at 8:30 pm ET from Madison Square Garden.
