The fiery extent Ben Stiller took after Knicks’ Game 3 loss to Spurs

New York Knicks superfan Ben Stiller was in a fiery mood after Game 3 of the NBA Finals. At least jokingly after the San Antonio Spurs ended his team's long winning streak.

The actor sat with the Inside the NBA crew on ESPN before the game. Stiller dove into how he handled the first loss of the championship series.

Stiller and his wife, actress Christine Taylor, went scorched earth in a humorous way.

“My wife Christine and I came home after the last game and burned the clothes we were wearing,” Stiller joked. “I'm not ever wearing that stupid finals shirt that I was wearing.”

Stiller is referring to the black commemorative shirt Madison Square Garden gave out before the third game. Unfortunately that attire didn't hand the home team any luck.

Stiller even became vocal before the interview with the likes of Ernie Johnson, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith, Shaquille O'Neal, and Draymond Green. He called out the fan unrest occurring outside of MSG involving watch parties that grew out of hand. Police intervened by making multiple arrests on Knick fans who assaulted Spurs fans.

“Being a Knick fan doesn’t mean being disrespectful to Spurs fans in any way…we get caught up during the games but we gotta show respect to our fellow humans,” Stiller posted on the social media website X, formerly Twitter.

Stiller currently is watching more disappointment out of his beloved Knicks. San Antonio jumped to a massive early 22-point lead, the largest one the Spurs have built in this series.
