Heat trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo reportedly at roadblock due to one reason

For the Miami Heat to land Giannis Antetokounmpo, there would probably need to be another team involved.

Trading a player of his caliber typically requires teams to get a third team involved, and if the Milwaukee Bucks are wise, which we have to assume they'll be, they need a third team involved to get more assets.

The Bucks, who have a very good chance to at least improve their future without Antetokounmpo, need to take this as seriously as possible.

There's no chance they can do anything but get the best possible package in return. According to one reporter, that could cause a problem, as they're currently having a tough time finding a third team to join the sweepstakes.

“Seems it is not all that easy to trade Giannis Antetokounmpo after all. The Bucks could do a straight deal with the Miami Heat for Antetokounmpo, but they’d like an impact young player coming back, and they’re having a hard time finding a participant willing to get into a multi-team deal by including a young player,” Sean Deveney of Heavy reported.

I still think that Milwaukee, if it decides to move on from him, will eventually find a third team to get into this deal. The Bucks really have no other choice unless they truly believe Miami's package is fine as is, and that shouldn't be the case.
