New York trailed by 27 points at halftime. But the squad did not lose focus. Anunoby revealed what he told his teammates during the break, as reported by ClutchPoints' Kris Pursiainen.
“I'll just say stuff like, ‘We're fine. Stay with it, we're fine.' It's a game of runs. We've come back plenty of times. Cut it down to 18, cut it down to 12, cut it down to six. Pushing through. It's a 48-minute game. Just play to the end,” said the hard-nosed forward.
The Spurs led by as much as 29 points.

The 28-year-old Anunoby finished with 33 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field, including 7-of-9 from beyond the arc. He also had four rebounds and helped defend Victor Wembanyama.
He made a crucial block against De'Aaron Fox with 11 seconds left, which gave the Knicks another possession, setting up Anunoby's game-winning bucket.
