Despite a Game 4 loss to the Knicks and a 3-1 Finals deficit, Victor Wembanyama made NBA history by becoming the youngest player ever to score 500+ playoff points while averaging 24.0 per game for the Spurs this postseason.
Despite the San Antonio Spurs' 107-106 loss to the New York Knicks in Game 4 following a historic collapse, Victor Wembanyama still made NBA history on Wednesday night.
At just 22 years old, Wemby became the youngest player ever to score 500+ points in a single playoff run. He has now totaled 505 points across 21 postseason games, averaging 24.0 points per game.
So far in the playoffs, Wembanyama has only missed Game 3 of the first-round series against Portland while recovering from a concussion.
He is also at risk of suspension in the NBA Finals if he receives another flagrant foul.
The Spurs currently trail the 2026 NBA Finals 3-1 and now face elimination.
They will try to extend their season in Game 5 on Saturday, June 13, with tip-off set for 8:30 p.m. ET (7:30 p.m. local time).
