Caitlin Foord has signed a new contract with Arsenal in the WSL, which will see her continue her stay in North London, extending her contract at the club after signing in 2020.
Since signing from Sydney FC, the forward has gone on to make 203 appearances for Arsenal, scoring 57 goals, helping them to the UEFA Women's Champions League in the 2025/26 season and also scoring the winning goal in the Gunners' 3-2 victory over Corinthians in the final of the inaugural FIFA Champions Cup in February 2026.

Foord signed for the Gunners in January 2020, under the current CommBank Matildas head coach Joe Montemurro, with her Australian teammate Steph Catley joining her seven months later in North London.
The forward has added to her trophy cabinet since joining the Gunners, helping them to two League Cup titles, the UEFA Women’s Champions League and the FIFA Champions Cup. Foord played a crucial role in Arsenal's 2024/25 UEFA Women’s Champions League triumph, finding the back of the net seven times and providing four assists over her 15 appearances in Europe.
Arsenal finished the 2025/26 season in second place, four points shy of Manchester City, who lifted their first title in 10 years, with the Gunners securing European football once again. The side will be hoping to go one better in Europe next season, having been knocked out at the semi-final stage by Lyon 4-3 on aggregate.
News of Foord's re-signing comes off the back of a number of long-time veterans leaving the club, with Beth Mead and Katie McCabe leaving after a decade with the club, joined by Victoria Pelova, Laia Codine, Naomi Williams and Manuela Zinsberger also departing the club following the 2025/26 season.
The 2026/27 season will kick off on the 4th of September, with Arsenal set to play all of their home games this season at the Emirates Stadium.
