The NBA Finals have us in a chokehold. The New York Knicks clinched a 107-106 win over the San Antonio Spurs in Game Four on Wednesday night, making a record comeback from 29 points and putting their first championship since 1973 well within reach. The watch flexes during the Finals have been equally gripping, with A-listers and players alike flexing enviable wristwear courtside.

The pieces we spotted from Game One to Four span the full spectrum of watchmaking, from the highly complicated to the classic and sporty. Jay-Z showed off a Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon, Knicks stars Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns sported six-figure Jacob & Co. stunners, Timothée Chalamet rocked a groundbreaking Urban Jürgensen, DJ Khaled donned a coveted, off-catalog Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, Fat Joe flexed the playful Rolex Day-Date “Emoji,” and Jerry Seinfeld strapped on the iconic Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute.

Check out the best watches we spotted at the NBA Finals below.

Fat Joe gave us a blast from Rolex’s not-so-distant past at Game Three, wearing the Day-Date “Emoji” the Crown released in 2023. The piece, available in white, yellow, or rose gold, famously features a colorful puzzle-like dial and a date window showing 31 emojis. Yellow-gold examples, like the rapper’s, cost around $300,000 on sites like Chrono24.

Jay-Z strapped on a suitably flashy Patek Philippe Sky Moon Tourbillon (Ref. 5002G-010) for Game Three. It ranks among the most complicated wristwatches ever created, featuring no fewer than 12 complications. A similar example sold for roughly $2.3 million at a Phillips auction in 2019.

DJ Khaled: Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra Thin

DJ Khaled likely made fellow watch collectors green with envy at Game Three, wearing an off-catalog Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ultra Thin rumored to be limited to just 50 examples and reserved for VIP clients. (We’ve also spotted the rarity on the wrists of Lionel Messi, Tom Brady, and Corey Gamble.) Crafted from 18-karat yellow gold, the piece features a striking smoked-green dial that sets it apart from the gold-faced production model (ref. 26586BA).

Karl-Anthony Towns: Jacob & Co. Opera Godfather

Knicks star Karl-Anthony Towns tipped a hat to a cinematic masterpiece at Game Three, wearing Jacob & Co.’s Godfather-inspired timepiece. The rarity, limited to 36 and priced at $460,000, can actually play the soundtrack from the Francis Ford Coppola classic.

Jalen Brunson: Rolex Day-Date

Knicks guard Jalen Brunson kept things classic for Game Two, turning up in what looks like a white-gold Rolex Day-Date with a bright black dial. It retails for $54,200.

Jerry Seinfeld showed he is well and truly a Breitling guy at Game Four, strapping on what appears to be a Breitling Navitimer Cosmonaute with a 24-hour dial. This model was famously created for NASA astronaut Scott Carpenter, becoming the first Swiss wrist-worn chronograph in space on May 24 1962. You can pick one up for $12,650.

Josh Hart: H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua

Knicks guard Josh Hart coordinated his watch with his team uniform for Game Two, wearing a steel H. Moser & Cie. Pioneer Centre Seconds Spiced Aqua with a blue fumé dial and a bold orange rubber strap. You can pick one up for $20,200.

Hart took things up a gear for Game Three, strapping on a rose-gold Jacob & Co. Bugatti Chiron watch worth $445,000. The bonkers timepiece, limited to 72 examples, features a mini working W-16 inside, because of course it does.

Timothée Chalamet showed off his go-to Urban Jürgensen courtside during Game Four. One of three six-figure models the Danish-Swiss watchmaker released in June 2025 as part of a rebrand, the UJ-1 is a wristwatch take on a legendary oval pocket watch, with a flying tourbillon coupled with a remontoir and detent escapement, begun by the late Derek Pratt of Urban Jürgensen and finished by his protégé, Kari Voutilainen. It comes in silver or rose gold like Chalamet’s, with both limited to 25 and priced at 368,000 Swiss francs or approximately $448,663.
