The New York Knicks completed the best comeback in NBA Finals history, rallying down 29 points to defeat the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 to take a 3-1 lead. After the Game 3 loss, the Knicks knew what they needed to do in order to regain momentum, but it took them until the second half to actually execute the plan.
Before Game 4, James Dolan guaranteed that the Knicks would win and also take the series, which Mike Brown knew nothing about. Following the game, Brown was asked about Dolan's comments.
“No, I wasn't aware of it. You know, he owns the team. He can say whatever he wants to say, you know. Maybe he feels something, I don't know. But I'm 100% okay with him saying whatever he feels like he needs to say,” Brown said.

Owners are going to have the utmost confidence in their teams, which is no surprise, and it turned out to work out in Dolan's favor. Maybe the Knicks should want him to guarantee a Game 5 win so they can get the series over instead of having to come back to Madison Square Garden for another matchup.
The Knicks are in the driver's seat right now, while the Spurs are probably trying to figure out how to start the car again. This isn't a game that you can easily get over, but the Spurs don't have a choice but to come out and give it their all, or the season is over.
As for the Knicks, by now, they should know that they have to start games better, but it looks like they always find a way to come back in the end. With the Spurs having to come out knowing it's win or go home, the Knicks have to be ready for anything in Game 5 if they want to close out the series.
