Second-year cornerback Benjamin Morrison is injured, Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles said after practice today. Morrison did not practice and Bowles said he has a “leg injury” but offerered no further details.
The first NFL injury report of the season is not required to be released until four days prior to the Week 1 kickoff.
Bowles not sharing more about Morrison’s injury surely means it’s something more than just a day-to-day toe tweak.
It’s June 11, but it’s still somewhat alarming since Morrison entered last offseason healing from surgery, and then was injured during his rookie season.
