Heat 'Genuinely Concerned' Celtics Will Trade For Giannis Antetokounmpo

The Boston Celtics are Las Vegas's second-favorite to make a trade this offseason to land disgruntled Milwaukee Bucks NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo. The Miami Heat have emerged as the runaway favorite with a better-than-one-in-two chance.

A new report from insider Jake Fischer says that there is genuine concern inside the Miami Heat organization that Boston will swoop in and take the NBA champion out of their grasp.

"Rival teams, furthermore, continue to point to Boston's various assets as illustrating its ability to become a factor here," Fischer wrote. "They also note that Antetokounmpo shares a skills coach with Jayson Tatum (Drew Hanlen) and is believed to have a level of interest in landing with the Celtics on top of his well-chronicled affinity for Miami…

"This much is clear: Boston is believed to be a potential suitor that genuinely concerns Miami."

I am neither for nor against splitting up the Celtics' superstars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. They have already proved their championship pedigree.

However, it is hard to imagine the Celtics not being the NBA Finals favorite if they were to land the former league MVP. Antetokounmpo might be the only player in the NBA worth trading Brown for.

The Celtics showed fans what happens when you can't score in the post. Antetokounmpo solves that problem immediately.
