To the surprise of no one, NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani was elated that the New York Knicks pulled off a 29-point comeback in Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
After the game concluded, Mamdani wrote, “SPEECHLESS. LFGK,” on X, formerly Twitter. Like most Knicks fans, he was at a loss for words.
Mamdani is a diehard Knicks fan. He typically pays his way into games, sitting with non-celebrity row fans. He was most recently seen at Game 3 at Madison Square Garden.

While he was at Game 3, it doesn't appear that Mamdani was at Game 4 on Wednesday, June 10. He did, however, help New Yorkers catch the game after James Dolan canceled the planned watch party.

The Knicks pulled off an improbable win against the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Finals. They were down as much as 29 points in the game, but they managed to fight back and win by one point.
OG Anunoby saved the day for the Knicks. He was able to put back a missed three-pointer by Jalen Brunson, which gave the Knicks a one-point lead. They contained the Spurs on their last offensive possession to secure the win.
Anunoby has been electric for the Knicks. He scored 33 points in 41 minutes in Game 4, making 66% of his shots. He even went 7-9 from downtown. Jalen Brunson led the team in scoring, logging 36 shots on 12-25 shooting. He also had seven assists and three steals in the game.
Now, the Knicks will have a chance to put the series to an end on Saturday, June 13. Game 5 will be played in San Antonio, giving the Spurs home-court advantage. However, the Knicks went to San Antonio and won the first two games of the series. Perhaps they have one more in them.
