Chiefs Trade Super Bowl Champ To NFC Squad

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, the Chiefs have agreed to trade OT Wanya Morris to the Falcons. Numerous reports indicate that the Chiefs will receive a 2027 sixth-round pick and will also be sending Atlanta a 2027 seventh-round pick.

It was reported earlier this week that Morris and the Chiefs had agreed to explore trade options.

Morris started 11 games for the Chiefs during the 2024 season, and he started 16 of his 43 appearances for the AFC West club overall. With Kaleb McGary’s retirement this offseason, Morris will join Jake Matthews, Jawaan Taylor, Storm Norton, Michael Jerrell and Jack Nelson as the Falcons’ tackle options.
