Former NFL First Round Draft Pick And Super Bowl Champ Facing Possible Death Penalty

In relation to the death of his girlfriend, Gabriela Perpetuo, Darron Lee, a first-round draft pick of the Jets in 2016, has been formally indicted on a charge of first-degree murder.

As part of the case, evidence was presented that Lee had consulted ChatGPT regarding how to handle an unresponsive individual. Additionally, Lee allegedly inquired about the injuries that would be consistent with someone falling in the shower when he used ChatGPT.

There was a separate charge of evidence tampering dismissed by the prosecution.

Separately, Perpetuo’s estate has sued Lee for $50 million for wrongful death.
