'Adding about€1m a day': Liverpool's£100m target is getting more expensive each day

**Liverpool are chasing Yan Diomande as their marquee summer signing, but may be priced out of a deal as RB Leipzig continue to increase his transfer fee.**

An heir for Mohamed Salah is Liverpool’s most important transfer agenda for the summer of 2026, but it’s by no means a straightforward task, given the emergence of PSG as a candidate club.

The Ivorian will be one of the most exciting at this year’s World Cup in North America, after his 13 goals and 1o assists for Leipzig this season.

The 19-year-old would be a welcome addition at Anfield, but Leipzig are proving difficult to deal with.

RB Leipzig asking for increased transfer fee to sell Yan Diomande to PSG or Liverpool

Ben Jacobs reports that RB Leipzig asking price for Diomande has increased amid the battle between Liverpool and PSG.

_“The asking price is now above €100m (£86.3m),”_ he told [Market Madness](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLwHRhyRHQha11n7Q0iEtLjdi_qonPLpdh).

_“Leipzig seem to be adding about €1m a day, and the reason they’re doing that is because they want an answer from Diomande first._

_“Until they get an answer as to whether he’s going to sign a new deal, Leipzig’s intention is to keep the price as high as possible in order to buy time and stall any potential deal._

_“As soon as Diomande says he’s either staying or going, Leipzig will either settle his future and there’ll be no move this summer or, at the opposite extreme, they’ll realise the player wants to leave and the overall package will likely come down a little.”_

Discussing PSG’s interest, Jacobs added: _“PSG also like Diomande and, were he to join the French side, there is a scenario in which Bradley Barcola becomes available._

_“He’s not really getting game time on the left because of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while Désiré Doué appears to be starting all the big games too, so Liverpool could potentially turn their attention to Barcola._

_“Barcola is also very high on Liverpool’s shortlist, but Diomande remains their number one target._

_“They’ve made progress on the player side, so there is cautious optimism within Liverpool that Diomande would like to join, despite giving an interview only a few weeks ago in which he spoke about his love for PSG. For now, it’s Liverpool versus PSG in the race for Diomande.”_
