Bündchen — who is now married to Joaquim Valente — and Brady finalized their divorce in 2022
Gisele Bündchen is looking back on her life with ex-husband Tom Brady nearly four years after they finalized their divorce.
The supermodel, 45, reflected on her past cover shoots with WMagazine and while sharing memories of her 2007 issue, she made a rare comment about her life in New England with Brady, who at the time was playing for the New England Patriots.
"I had moved to Boston and was living a much quieter life," she said. "Earlier in my career, everything was about achievement and saying yes to every opportunity. Over time, I began to understand the importance of finding balance."
Bündchen went on to say that she learned how to "become more present and more connected" with herself rather than "focusing on external expectations" during that time of her life. She explained, "That changed everything—not only my work, but also the way I experienced life."

In a 2022 interview with Elle, Bündchen described the grounded life she created for herself and her family in the Northeast. "I focused on creating a cocoon and a loving environment for my children to grow up in and to be there supporting him and his dreams," she said.
Bündchen, Brady and their children moved to Florida in 2020 after he signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
On his Let's Go! podcast, Brady discussed how Bündchen had to hold "down the house" while he built his NFL career and said he appreciates the sacrifices she has made in her own career for their family.
"I think there's things that she wants to accomplish," he shared. "You know, she hasn't worked as much in the last 10, 12 years just raising our family and kind of committing to being in a life in Boston and then moving to Florida."
Today, Bündchen is newly married to jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente, with whom she shares a baby boy they welcomed in February 2025.
