You could feel the disbelief spreading throughout a star-studded Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night.

For much of Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the New York Knicks and San Antonio Spurs, the many celebrities in the crowd wore the same expression as every other Knicks fan in the building: anxious and bracing for heartbreak as their team trailed behind for most of the game.

Then, in the fourth quarter, they witnessed the biggest comeback in finals history as the Knicks rallied from a 29-point deficit to win 107-106 on OG Anunoby's tip-in with 1.2 seconds left.

The arena erupted in chants after Anunoby clinched the win for the Knicks as fans chanted "O-G! O-G!"

If there is one thing sports analysts seem to agree on, it's that this is moment that will be retold for years to come.

"With all [of] the artists who were there — the actors, the singers, the writers … this is going to be told in art," sportswriter Brian Windhorst said on the ESPN morning show Get Up.

Here's a look at some of the before and after reactions of those sitting up front and centre to the action.

Taylor Swift

Among the A-listers spotted courtside was Taylor Swift, wearing a blue T-shirt with "Stevie Knicks" printed in orange.

She attended along with singers Este and Alana Haim, who also had Knicks-related references on their shirts: "Knickole Kidman" and "Knickleback."

Swift jumped around in celebration, waving a rally towel after leaving the court for the bowels of the Garden.

Other celebrities in the house included Tate McRae and Hailey Bieber, and life-long Knicks fans like Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Ben Stiller and Rapper Fat Joe.
