In the NBA's L2M report, it was confirmed that the officials made the right decision not to call a foul on OG Anunoby's defensive play against De'Aaron Fox in the closing moments of Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
The defensive stop of OG Anunoby against De'Aaron Fox's layup in the final seconds of Game 4 of the 2026 NBA Finals has been deemed clean and legal.

In the NBA's Last 2 Minute report, the league review ruled out that the referees made the right decision not to call a foul on Anunoby's rejection of Fox.
"Anunoby makes a legal attempt to block Fox's shot and dislodges the ball from his control before making incidental arm contact," the report indicated.
After Jalen Brunson missed a mid-range jumper, both Fox and Anunoby went for a race toward the ball at the other side of the court during the closing moments of last Wednesday's game. As Fox retrieved it, he decided to go for a layup, which the Knicks star subsequently blocked.
De'Aaron Fox's brutal missed layup ruins Spurs in Game 4
That specific play will significantly haunt the Spurs forever, especially on the side of De'Aaron Fox.
Still up by a point, the star point guard committed a questionable play by going for a layup instead of just holding the ball and letting himself get sent to the free-throw line from a foul.
As such, that costly error allowed the Knicks to complete the biggest comeback in NBA Finals history, as OG Anunoby's subsequent unreal putback with 1.2 seconds remaining lifted New York to a 107-106 miracle win after being down by as many as 29.
"We haven't scored. I tried to get a layup to get up three [points]," he explained about what went through his mind from his play late in Game 4.
"Make them force to need a three, and then OG [Anunoby] made a good block."
As a result, the Spurs are now heading to San Antonio with their backs against the wall, trailing the Knicks' commanding 3-1 lead in the Finals series.
