According to Yahoo! Sports' Kevin O'Connor, the Celtics are willing to offer everyone except for Jayson Tatum in a potential Giannis blockbuster deal with the Milwaukee Bucks.
"I am here to add that I have heard Boston is shopping people around a lot right now. Boston is making calls and is open to trading anybody besides Jayson Tatum," O'Connor said.
"That doesn't necessarily mean they land Giannis Antetokounmpo at the end of the day, but based on all the conversations I've had, the Celtics are in on Giannis and are making a push for him. Right now, it seems to be a two-team race with Milwaukee to acquire Giannis Antetokounmpo."
Boston now on the hunt for a possible Giannis trade
Of all the teams that expressed interest in Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Boston Celtics are certainly the most intriguing.
Coming off a disappointing first-round exit in the 2026 NBA Playoffs, the Celtics instantly emerged as a potential suitor out of their rumored inquiry on the trade availability of Antetokounmpo.
As such, the Miami Heat, who have been pegged as the current favorites to win the sweepstakes, are reportedly threatened by them in the ongoing trade hunt for the Greek superstar.
