Vikings host H.S. flag football state champs from Rosemount

Three days after winning the state title, the newly-crowned Minnesota High School Flag Football League champion Rosemount Irish were back at the TCO Center as guests of the Minnesota Vikings.

The Vikings invited the Irish coaches and players to visit the facility during the final day of minicamp.

This was the second season the Vikings sponsored the Girls H.S. Flag Football League.

Several Vikings players, including Justin Jefferson, attended Monday night’s playoff games.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell welcomed members of the team to the podium during his press conference at the conclusion of the team’s final minicamp session on Thursday and spent time chatting with the Irish after practice was over.
