Liverpool star Rio Ngumoha reportedly starred in a behind-closed-doors friendly for England ahead of the World Cup.
Ngumoha is part of the Three Lions group that is currently in Florida, getting ready for the start of the tournament this summer.
The Reds starlet has travelled across the Atlantic with the England squad to feature in the pre-tournament friendly matches, but was not named in the 26-man squad for the World Cup by manager Thomas Tuchel.
A report in the Daily Mail has claimed that England took part in a behind-closed-doors friendly match with a Miami XI on Thursday, with the Three Lions recording an emphatic 6-0 victory.
Ngumoha is reported to have got himself on the score sheet, with what has been described as a “breathtaking strike from distance”.
The teenager was joined on the score sheet by former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson and Arsenal forward Ethan Nwaneri, while Al-Hilal striker Ivan Toney is reported to have scored a hat-trick in the game.
Ngumoha recently made his England debut in the 1-0 victory over New Zealand last week, with his performance earning the Liverpool starlet the player of the match award.
“I’ll say it was a crazy feeling,” Ngumoha told England's official app.
“I was happy, I was buzzing. I knew from when we had the meeting before that it was a first-half team and a second-half team, so I was preparing.

“It’s good that I didn’t have much time to think about it, but I wasn’t too nervous, to be fair. I just wanted to play and just show everyone what I could do. And yeah, I just had fun.”
Ngumoha’s future at Liverpool has been the subject of speculation over the last couple of weeks, with reports that Bayern Munich have expressed an interest in signing the 17-year-old.
As reported by the ECHO, it’s understood that Liverpool have not been contacted by the Bundesliga giants, despite the reported interest, and have no plans to allow Ngumoha to leave the club this summer.
Liverpool are currently preparing for next season with new manager Andoni Iraola at the helm, where the Reds will be looking to have Ngumoha as a key part of their squad for the upcoming campaign and beyond.
